Anyone who knows me would tell you that I was sick the day that crafty skills were passed out. I really can only accomplish anything if I copy from someone else.
BUT ~ this time is different!
I have wanted silhouettes of my children for months. I went to Salvation Army and purchased some odd, wooden, modge-podged wall hangings. And I made this whole thing up!!
Here's my kids. Can you tell who is who??
Just lie to me if you can't.
Here's how I did it.
I had each of my children sit in front of a bright window and look straight ahead for a picture. Here's an example of one of those.
I printed each of them 3x5 and cut them out.
I then traced around them with pen on black paper.
After cutting each silhouette on black paper I chose yellow for the background and cut each paper to the size of the wood.
Using spray glue I stuck them all together and modge podged over all of it.
I'm so excited with how they turned out!
